- Contents of School Records.
The school records of any transferring pupil or student sent by one school to another should contain the final rating in each subject with the corresponding credits or the action taken thereon; in the case of the elementary level, the general average of the pupil including the monthly rating if the pupil leaves before the completing the school year. -
Request for School Record
Upon submission and acceptance of the transfer credentials, the school to which a pupil or student has transferred shall request in writing for the complete school records (Form 137) or transcript of records of the pupil or student from the school last attended. The latter school shall forward such records directly to the school within thirty days from receipt of the request. The school record should not be given to the student unless authorized in writing by the school requesting for the said records. -
Release of School Records.
The school records of a student under a penalty of suspension or expulsion shall not be released until the penalty had completed. In case of suspension, the release shall be upon the discretion of the school, while, in case of expulsion, the release shall be upon the approval of the Secretary of Education.
Certification, transcript of records, and other related documents require cash payment.
The processing of school records shall be three working days after payment to the cashier. The release of the records is after three working days.
WITHHOLDING OF CREDENTIAL
Withholding of Credentials. (Article IV. Sec. 128: 2010 Revised Manual of Regulations for Private Schools in Basic Education)
The release of the transfer credential/s (F-138-Report Card with the Certificate of Eligibility to Transfer and/or Admission, Good Moral Certificate or a Letter of Recommendation) of any student may be withheld for reasons of suspension, expulsion or non-payment of financial obligations or property responsibility of the student to the school. The credentials shall be released as soon as his obligations shall have been settled or the penalty of suspension or expulsion lifted.
